Delete pages from a PDF

Remove pages one by one, duplicate or reorder what remains, then export. The page rail shows every page as a thumbnail so you can check before saving.

How to remove pages

  • Open the PDF. The page rail lists every page with a thumbnail.
  • Select the page and delete it, or use the page menu.
  • Drag thumbnails to reorder, or duplicate a page if you need a copy.
  • Export. The remaining pages keep their original vector content.

What happens to the rest of the document

Pages you keep are copied unchanged, including their rotation and embedded fonts. Overlays you added stay attached to their page. Undo works across page operations, so a wrong deletion is recoverable before export.

Limits

Very large documents are limited by browser memory, not by a server quota. A 500-page scan may be slow to thumbnail but usually still opens. The default maximum file size is 200 MB.

Frequently asked questions

+Is the original file modified?

No. The editor works on a copy in memory and exports a new file. Your original stays untouched.

+Can I delete several pages at once?

Pages are removed one at a time, with undo available after each operation.

+Does deleting a page shrink the file?

Sometimes. Unused objects may remain, so PdfCanvas does not guarantee a size reduction.

+Is there a page limit?

No fixed limit. Browser memory is the practical constraint.
