Sign a PDF
Draw a signature with the mouse, trackpad or finger, place it on the page, and export. The result is a visual signature, which is what most everyday documents need.
How to sign
- Open the editor and load the PDF.
- Open the signature dialog and draw with the pointer.
- Place the signature on the page and drag the corners to resize it.
- Add a date or a name with the text tool if the document requires it.
- Export and send the signed file.
Visual signature vs digital signature
This is a drawn signature image embedded in the PDF. It is legally useful in many ordinary situations, and it is what people expect from "sign this PDF".
It is not a cryptographic signature. There is no certificate, no tamper evidence and no identity verification. For contracts that require a qualified or advanced electronic signature, use a provider built for that and keep the audit trail.
Privacy
The signature never leaves the browser. It is drawn on a canvas, added to the scene and written into the exported file locally. No account, no email, no storage on a server.
Frequently asked questions
+Is the signature legally valid?
A drawn signature is accepted for many everyday documents, but validity depends on jurisdiction and on the agreement. For qualified signatures, use a certified provider.
+Can I reuse my signature?
The hosted editor keeps the current session in the browser. Autosave stores the project locally, so you can reopen it on the same device.
+Does it work on a phone?
Yes. The editor has mobile drawers and the signature canvas accepts touch input.
+Can I add a signature to every page?
Place it on each page manually. There is no batch stamping.
